Make-up trial FAQs

Here are some tips to ensure you get the most from your make-up trial with me….

Gather some images of make-up looks that you like, this will help me to see what elements of make-up to discuss with you.

Please wear a top in a similar colour and neckline to what you will wear on your wedding day., if you have your jewellery you could bring that too, it may help you to visualise the completed look.

I match foundation/skin make-up to the colour of your skin at the time, so don’t worry if you plan on having a spray tan for the wedding, I will match it. I do, however recommend that you trial a tan a couple of times so you can feel confident of the level of tan you want to achieve.

Generally trials are an hour and a half but they can be completed in an hour or up to 2 hours depending on how much we chat and how detailed your make-up look is.

Ideally arrive to your trial without make-up on, just moisturise as normal beforehand.

Lastly, remember that a trial is sometimes about establishing what you don’t like as much as what you do like. You may decide you love a more polished version of your everyday make-up or you may want to go for a bold, different look on your big day. Enjoy the pampering and wedding chat at your trial….make-up is one of the fun, finishing touches to your wedding preparations x
