My experience with Salicylic Acid

2% anhydrous solution

Another game changing product if you have blemish prone, oily or uneven textured skin. It's oil soluble so it goes deeper into the skin than water soluble solutions. It promotes exfoliation by softening the surface layer of skin, it feel much kinder than using a scratchy face scrub!

There are different ways to use it (as always please do your own research according to your needs and skin type and always follow the specific product usage instructions)

For me I have been applying a couple of drops of this 2% solution from The Ordinary after cleansing, most evenings. I would not use this before make up as foundation will slip right off! It feels like a light oil, incredibly smooth, a little greasy but not unpleasant. After 15 minutes I then apply my night cream.
My skin feels so nourished the next day, not greasy at all. And the texture is getting more even too. Definitely something that I will re-buy and continue to use.
